Ken Noel, ’66 BS, ’69 MS Sociology: Published his dual autobiography “Brothers of the Wind: The Journey to Here and There.”

Ray Giles, ’70 Journalism: Published the third edition of his book “Striving and Surviving on Campus - An Insider's Guide to Community College Administration,” which was originally published in 2000.

Carolyn Lewis, ’70 Women’s Physical Education, ’71 CA Teaching Credential: Continued her tenure as president of the Santa Cruz Area Chapter of the SJSU Alumni Association.

Ronald C. Melzer, ’79 Journalism: Retired after 39 years as a United Methodist Church minister and 25 years as a part-time broadcast radio DJ and newscaster.

Samuel Herzberg, ’95 MUP: Received the 2024 Sustainability Award from Sustainable San Mateo County.

Lisa Duerre, ’96 BS/BA Human Resources: Named managing director of Lipedema Simplified and The Lipedema Project.

Dr. Paul Ellison, ’03 MA Musicology: Appointed president of the American Beethoven Society, a group that supports the work of the Ira F. Brilliant Center for Beethoven Studies, located on the SJSU campus.

David Gulzadah, ’08 Aviation: Piloted the San Francisco 49ers to the Super Bowl in Las Vegas and the Kansas City Chiefs after their Super Bowl win in Las Vegas.

Laura Nicole Miller, ’12 MLIS: Appointed to the Worcester, Massachusetts, Public Library's Board of Directors by the City Council.
